Work KITAP Indonesia is a permanent stay permit for eligible foreign workers who want to continue living and working legally in Indonesia for a long-term period.

Stay Period:

• 5 years and extendable.

Visa Validity:

• Permanent Stay Permit or KITAP, valid for 5 years and can be extended based on immigration approval. Official immigration fee information also lists ITAP or Permanent Stay Permit services, including 5-year ITAP issuance and extension.

Processing Time:

• Approximately 14 to 30 working days after all required documents are complete.

What you CAN do:

• Stay in Indonesia as a long-term foreign worker.
• Work legally for the approved sponsoring company.
• Carry out job duties based on the approved position.
• Enter and leave Indonesia during the valid permit period.
• Apply for KITAP extension if eligible and approved by immigration.

What You CANNOT Do:

• Work for a different company without proper approval.
• Work in a different position outside the approved permit.
• Run freelance or business activities outside the approved work purpose.
• Stay beyond the approved permit period without an extension.

Document Requirements:

1. Passport valid for at least 18 months.
2. Recent color photograph.
3. Valid Work KITAS or previous stay permit.
4. Employment contract or job appointment letter.
5. Company sponsorship documents.
6. Company legal documents in Indonesia.
7. Approved work permit or related employment approval.
8. Tax identification document, if required.
9. Other supporting documents may be required depending on the applicant profile.
