Bridging Visa Indonesia is a temporary stay permit for foreigners who need to maintain legal stay in Indonesia while waiting for the next visa or stay permit process.

Stay Period:

• 30 to 180 days.

Visa Validity:

• Single-entry visa. The validity depends on the approved bridging visa or temporary stay permit period.

Processing Time:

• Approximately 5 to 7 working days after all required documents are complete.

What you CAN do:

• Stay legally in Indonesia while waiting for the next visa process.
• Continue your stay during the transition between visa or permit types.
• Complete immigration requirements before the current stay permit expires.
• Apply for the next visa or stay permit if eligible and approved by immigration.

What You CANNOT Do:

• Work as a regular employee in Indonesia without the proper work permit.
• Receive salary or income from an Indonesian company without legal authorization.
• Run business or commercial activities outside the permitted visa purpose.
• Stay beyond the approved bridging permit period without further approval.

Document Requirements:

1. Passport valid for at least 6 months.
2. Recent color photograph.
3. Current visa or stay permit.
4. Proof of ongoing visa or stay permit application.
5. Proof of guarantee from sponsor or guarantor.
6. Personal bank statement or financial proof, if required.
7. Other supporting documents may be required depending on the applicant profile.
