Spouse Visa Indonesia E31A is a limited stay visa for foreigners who are legally married to an Indonesian citizen or eligible KITAS holder and want to live together in Indonesia.

Stay Period:

• 1 to 5 years, depending on the approved stay permit and sponsor status.

Visa Validity:

• Limited Stay Visa or KITAS, valid based on the approved stay permit period.

Processing Time:

• Approximately 7 to 14 working days after all required documents are complete.

What you CAN do:

• Stay in Indonesia with your spouse under a valid KITAS.
• Live together with your Indonesian spouse or eligible family sponsor.
• Enter and leave Indonesia during the valid stay permit period.
• Apply for stay permit extension if eligible and approved by immigration.
• Carry out personal and family-related activities allowed under the visa purpose.

What You CANNOT Do:

• Work as a regular employee in Indonesia without the proper work permit.
• Receive salary or income from an Indonesian company without legal authorization.
• Run business or commercial activities outside the permitted visa purpose.
• Stay beyond the approved permit period without an extension.

Document Requirements:

1. Passport valid for at least 18 months.
2. Recent color photograph.
3. Marriage certificate.
4. Sponsor ID card or passport.
5. Copy of spouse’s KITAS, passport, or Indonesian ID, depending on sponsor type.
6. Family card or supporting family document, if required.
7. Proof of guarantee from sponsor or guarantor.
8. Personal bank statement or financial proof, if required.
9. Other supporting documents may be required depending on the applicant profile.
