Visa Application

Spouse KITAP Indonesia is a permanent stay permit for foreigners who are legally married to an Indonesian citizen or eligible long-term stay permit holder and want to live together in Indonesia.

Stay Period:

• 5 years and extendable.

Visa Validity:

• Permanent Stay Permit or KITAP, valid for 5 years and can be extended based on immigration approval.

Processing Time:

• Approximately 14 to 30 working days after all required documents are complete.

What you CAN do:

• Stay in Indonesia with your spouse for a long-term period.
• Live together with your Indonesian spouse or eligible family sponsor.
• Enter and leave Indonesia during the valid permit period.
• Apply for KITAP extension if eligible and approved by immigration.
• Carry out personal and family-related activities allowed under the stay permit.

What You CANNOT Do:

• Work as a regular employee in Indonesia without the proper work permit.
• Receive salary or income from an Indonesian company without legal authorization.
• Run business or commercial activities outside the permitted stay purpose.
• Stay beyond the approved permit period without an extension.

Document Requirements:

1. Passport valid for at least 18 months.
2. Recent color photograph.
3. Valid Spouse KITAS or previous stay permit.
4. Marriage certificate.
5. Sponsor ID card or passport.
6. Copy of spouse’s KITAP, KITAS, passport, or Indonesian ID, depending on sponsor type.
7. Family card or supporting family document, if required.
8. Proof of guarantee from sponsor or guarantor.
9. Personal bank statement or financial proof, if required.
10. Other supporting documents may be required depending on the applicant profile.
