Retirement KITAP Indonesia is a permanent stay permit for eligible foreign retirees who want to live in Indonesia for a long-term period after meeting the required stay permit conditions.

Stay Period:

• 5 years and extendable.

Visa Validity:

• Permanent Stay Permit or KITAP, valid for 5 years and can be extended based on immigration approval.

Processing Time:

• Approximately 14 to 30 working days after all required documents are complete.

What you CAN do:

• Stay in Indonesia for long-term retirement purposes.
• Enter and leave Indonesia during the valid permit period.
• Enjoy personal, lifestyle, and retirement activities.
• Apply for KITAP extension if eligible and approved by immigration.
• Manage personal activities allowed under the retirement stay permit.

What You CANNOT Do:

• Work as a regular employee in Indonesia.
• Receive salary or income from an Indonesian company without legal authorization.
• Run business or commercial activities.
• Stay beyond the approved permit period without an extension.

Document Requirements:

1. Passport valid for at least 18 months.
2. Recent color photograph.
3. Valid Retirement KITAS or previous stay permit.
4. Proof of pension income or financial capability.
5. Proof of health insurance or travel insurance.
6. Proof of accommodation in Indonesia.
7. Proof of guarantee from sponsor or guarantor.
8. Other supporting documents may be required depending on the applicant profile.
